Directions

Directions from OR Tambo International Airport to Clico Guesthouse:

  • Upon exiting the airport, keep right, following the signs for the
    R24 / Johannesburg. This road joins the highway.
  • Continue straight on the R24 (N3) / Johannesburg.
  • Nine kilometers after leaving the airport, move into the centre
    right lane.
  • You will then merge with the N3 highway.
  • Follow the signs for the N3 / N1 / Pretoria. Take the fork to the
    right.
  • Immediately after this fork, turn left onto the interchange, and
    continue following the N3 / N1 / Pretoria signs.
  • Take the first off-ramp to Linksfield Road.
  • At the traffic light, turn right into Linksfield Road.
  • At the second set of traffic lights, turn right into Club Road.
  • Continue along this road for several kilometres, eventually
    crossing over Louis Botha Avenue. You will notice a MacDonald's on
    your left-hand side as you do so.
  • When you reach a T-junction, turn right into Pretoria Road.
  • Pretoria Road becomes Glenhove Road.
  • Continue along Glenhove Road, crossing over the M1 highway.
  • At the second set of traffic lights after the highway, go
    straight over Oxford Road.
  • At the fourth set of traffic lights, turn right into Sturdee
    Avenue.
  • At the third set of traffic lights, turn right into Jellicoe
    Avenue (get into left hand lane).
  • Take your immediate left at the traffic lights into Bath Avenue.
  • Turn left at the T-Junction into Rosebank Road.
  • Take a left at the next street into Sturdee Avenue.
  • Continue straight until you get to the stop sign. Clico Guesthouse
    is on your right on the corner of Jellico and Sturdee Avenue, just
    before the traffic light.

Directions to OR Tambo International Airport from Clico Guesthouse:

  • Drive out the entrance and turn left into Jellico Avenue.
  • Turn right at the T-Junction into Oxford Road.
  • At the fourth traffic light (at the MacDonald’s), turn left into Glenhove Road.
  • Keep going for a few kilometres, and you will cross over the M1 highway.
  • Glenhove then becomes Pretoria Road. You will go through a large dip at the bottom of which, you take the fork to the left, into Woodyatt Avenue.
  • Woodyatt Avenue becomes Athol Road. Keep on this road, passing over the busy Louis Botha Avenue – you will see another MacDonald’s on your right as you do so. Keep straight for several kilometres, passing over several traffic lights as you travel through the suburb of Glenhazel.
  • When you get to the Linksfield Nursery on your left, turn left into Linksfield Road.
  • Drive over the highway, and then turn immediately left onto the N3 / Jhb Int / Germiston onramp.
  • Once on the highway, take the R24 East / N12 offramp.
  • Follow the signs for the R24 / Johannesburg International Airport.
  • (Please note: Ensure that you take the R24 / Johannesburg International Airport offramp and not the Kempton Park turnoff.)
  • Johannesburg International Airport is about 25 km from Clico Guesthouse.
  • For International Departures, keep to your left.
  • For Domestic Departures, keep right.
